| Testimonial: | Our Favorite Car Dealership! Since I was a child my family has driven all different makes and models of cars, Japanese, American and European. For the past 13 years we’ve purchased GM cars and trucks. We’ve done business with dealers all over San Diego County with varying success. Since from 1997 we’ve found one constant, or what my husband refers to in the car business, “Mechanics worth their weight in gold.” Those technicians who tell you what your car needs, when you have no idea you needed it, and more importantly, those that tell you the repair you came in and requested, (in our most recent case, $2,000 dollars in auto leveling shocks and front brakes) are not necessary at the time. We’d saved money for a year for what we were told was a required removal and replacement of our Auto-Ride suspension shock absorbers on our 2000 Chevy Tahoe LT. The front brakes were squeaking as well so we figured the warning pads were letting us know it was brake job time. More money. The ten year old truck had 106,000 miles on it. Any repair shop could have said, “The customer requested this $2,000 repair? Sure, we’ll give it to em.” Not the service personnel at Quality Chevrolet. Service Representative, Maria Espinoza called back and told us after the Technician checked and test drove our vehicle; The brakes pads had plenty of life left on them, some of the squeaking was from excess brake dust which he blew out, and the rest, from older pads which Quality would replace if we liked, but was not required. Also, the Auto-Ride suspension was working properly and how a shock absorber change was not necessary. Maria gave us the option of going ahead with the Auto-Ride’s shock absorber removal and replacement which was in the area of $1,800, but it was not a necessity. Instead of spending $2,000, we drove out with a $40, Oil, lube, and filters replacement. This is just ‘one’ of my family’s many consistently positive experiences at Quality Chevrolet. We just saved $2,000! We live pretty deep in the east county of San Diego. There are five Chevrolet dealers geographically closer to our home, than Quality Chevrolet in Escondido. We physically drive past three of these other dealers on our way to have our vehicles serviced at Quality. When our friends and family ask us why we drive so far, we share our experiences with them; purchasing and servicing our last five GM cars and trucks at Quality Chevrolet. Whether working with Service Representative, Maria Espinoza, Service Manager David Grubbs, Sales Manager, Paul Brinkman, or General Manager Brian Axford, my family’s experiences at Quality Chevrolet have always been excellent, and money well spent (or in this and several cases, SAVED!) My, mother, adult brother and sisters family’s all do business with Quality Chevrolet now, and share the same view. It’s unfortunate Quality Chevrolet is located so far from our home, but trust us, it’s well worth the drive! Thank you for your hard work and top notch customer service. Our 2000 Tahoe broke down on I-15 outside Fallbrook late Monday afternoon on February 22nd during our return to Solana Beach from Las Vegas. We had been on the road for almost 5 hours. We were tired and in no mood to be stranded on the highway at 4:30 PM with a failed fuel pump. I called AAA to have it towed to the Carlsbad dealer from whom we purchased the truck from in 2000. I was told, “We close at 6:00 PM as does the rental car company, so we can not help you obtain a rental car or stay open past 6:00 PM”. I knew we could not make it before 6:00PM. Severely frustrated, I asked AAA for another dealer closer. AAA gave me Quality Chevrolet. When I discussed our situation with your Service Consultant, Wes Parkhurst, he VOLUNTEERED to stay open until we arrived AND made all the arrangements with Enterprise to have them deliver a rental car to your store before 6:00 PM for us drive home to Solana Beach.
